Production Area
Estate-owned vineyards located in the hilly area north of the town of Bibbona, on mixed clay soils rich in pebbles, well exposed to sunlight at an altitude of 60–70 meters above sea level.
Grape Variety
Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Production Technique
Harvest period during the first ten days of September, depending on seasonal climatic conditions. Grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed on the day of harvest. After fermentation, natural settling occurs, followed by bottling.
Organoleptic Characteristics
Bright ruby red colour. Broad and fruity bouquet. Good structure and persistence on the palate.
Food Pairings
Particularly suitable with traditional Tuscan dishes, especially first courses, meat-based main courses and cheeses. Alcohol content 12.5%–13.5%. Serving temperature 18°C.
